Streetsmart- Amaryllis spent much of her young life watching her older brother get bullied and beaten by others of his age. A yearning to protect him inspired her to study many fighting styles. But in these times, anything goes, so her main focus is how to fight in the style of her peers and enemies. She has observed other behaviors of youth and has learned some tips and tricks of the trade to get by. And most importantly- not get caught by the Gray Order.

Coy & Charm- She has a...nifty habit to get what she wants by playing stupid and cute toward boys and men. --Before kicking them in the nuts and running for her life with cackling laughter.

Knife fights- As her main weapon, she has practiced long and hard to protect herself and anyone she cares for with this simple but effective switchblade.

Weapons:

Stiletto Switchblade- A simple but effective antique fold-in/pop-out street knife she only uses when she's in a serious pinch. Careful to never deal a fatal blow, but critical enough to end the fight ASAP. She obtained it from her uncle's collection of antiques. ...And he's pretty pissed about it.

Goofy || Flirty || Confident || Loud || || Reckless || Hothead

Amaryllis is an energetic girl that won't take no for an answer. She's demanding, impatient and aggressive, downright reckless in everything she does. The occasional klutz, she's renown to break valuables  and completely embarrass herself quite often. Quite a pain in the ass to put up with, she'll be dead loyal and works her hardest to those proven as allies. In the worst of situations, she is optimistic and tries to spread her confidence to others. Despite her attitude, she has a strong sense of empathy for others and can be merciful in battle, refusing to kill any enemy no matter their deeds.

She likes to have fun and is spontaneous, often dragging people to come do stupid, invigorating activities throughout the city with her. She can be a creep, stalking people she's curious about to the point she'll watch them in their sleep. Amaryllis is terrible at jokes and pranks, but she'll try them anyway.

I. Family

The Eluria family had always struggled with finances, but were otherwise very happy in their little apartment complex near the Wall. The family of 4 led a simplistic life with a very careful budget, and took the meaning of true value to heart. There wasn't enough money to spend on trivial accessories they didn't need, but no one felt they were going without something in life.

Valen Eluria was an awkward boy in his youth. Bad at everything- clumsy, weird, talentless. He was constantly bullied at school, to the point his younger sister would have to come running to save him. She grew stronger with her desire to protect him, and would study how these people fight so she could defend herself and retaliate.

After watchng his younger sibling rescue him time and time again, he began to search for special ways to repay her. He tried art, music or becoming a genius- but none of those were easy enough to obtain. A simple thank-you would never suffice, however. In the midst of this struggle, he came in contact with the color-syndrome from a young rebel that coughed on him purposely. His eyes turned a pale shade of green, and with distress he cried onto his glasses, dying them the strange hue too. For weeks, he hid in fear. He knew the consequences of this disease, and refused to show his face in fear for his family. The boy that gave him the disease stuck around though, teaching him how the view of color could change the world and make it beautiful again. Remembering a moment long ago where Ameryllis asked what color even was, he started to believe restoring the world was something to strive for, for her.

It was then that he joined the Kaleidoscope.

II. Color

Amaryllis began to notice her brother's absence for long periods of time- gone before she woke up and returning after she'd gone to bed. Mother and father paid no mind to it, knowing he was safe, doing whatever boys do at this age. In fact, they were relieved as they now figured he'd finally made some good friends. Amaryllis, however, missed him deeply, and also knew something more was going on.

Valen let his hair grow out to cover his eyes, and stopped wearing his glasses. His parents bugged him about it, but let it go as another "phase." But his nights away turned into days, then weeks. After filing a missing person report, they waited. And waited more. Some rumored he went beyond the wall, while others didn't find much interest. Nothing came up in the search, as if all traces were wiped away.

One night, Amaryllis furiously barged into his bedroom and tore apart his drawers, cabinets, closet and mattress. She searched for any signs to explain his disappearance, refusing to believe he'd left as a rebellious teenager. Finally, she found his glasses.

III. Disease

While the tears had dried, the oils of Vanel's skin remained on the plastic of the frames. Once Amaryllis touched them, she'd immediately contracted the Color Syndrome. It terrified her- though the experience was little more than a bad flu season, it meant so much more. Her family now understood where Vanel went and why he did. While they worried for his health, his happiness and safety, they quietly supported his passion to change the world. Amaryllis could see the pride in their eyes, and it changed her view of him at that point. He was no longer that dorky boy that needed his little sister to come beat up the bad guys- now, they could be rivals. But above all, her desire to find him and tell him everything was okay, that he was loved and never alone, caused her to leave home just the very same.

She fought hard, the blisters in the soles of her feet rubbed raw that changed the color of her favorite sneakers. As the days went by, she could swear the tint in the glasses began to dull. They looked more grey again. Something was happening to him and she didn't know what. Or maybe, something already had. Was she imagining things?

IV. Beauty

There were more colors out there. She knew it. Amaryllis went on to join the kaleidoscope with her desire to see them all. This was like a whole new world beyond the gray, and she followed in her brother's footsteps to help make it happen. Valen had always needed her to protect him before and there was no doubt in her mind that he still did. She just has to find him.
